Lakeland Media Connect is coming out with a new show called "Sounds Fishy to Me" and is based on the impromptu comedy show "Whose Line is it Anyway?" Contestants will have props and other objects to assist them in their performance.

The show will be filmed in the Pub on November 12 at 8 p.m. The MC's of "Sounds Fishy to Me" will be Pub manager Tom Leah and Chris Charbonneau, TITLE. The show will last one hour but will be edited down to half an hour for Lake TV.

Luke Pfeifer, LMC president, said, "Sounds Fishy to Me" is "something different and will be a lot of fun."

Nick Hovde, LMC vice president, added, "This is a new experience for Lakeland Media Connect. Hopefully it will get more people involved on campus."

The show isn't going to be a continuing game show, however. It's going to be one in a string of game shows. LMC organizers are considering doing a different type of show each month. One example of these other shows is "elimiDATE."

If you're interested in being a contestant for "Sounds Fishy to Me," pick up and fill out an application at the Campus Center desk. Applications are due Monday, Nov. 5 at 5 p.m. There is an envelope outside the Student Organization Center for turning them in.
