The biggest difference between
the United States and Saudi
Arabia is the diversity. In the
United States one can find many
different nationalities all in the
same society, whereas in Saudi
Arabia there is not as much
mixture of nations. In Saudi
Arabia there is also less
opportunity for educational choices.

One of the differences between
the United States and Albania is
the lifestyle. In the United States
teenagers hang out in the pubs,
clubs or outside because where I
live, in the capital of Albania, we
have a lot of sidewalks and
boulevards. As for the school system,
to go to college in Albania you have
to pass this big exam issued by the
government, and if you pass it, school
is free. But we also have private
colleges in which you have to pay to go.

hydropower

GDP-per capita: $3,800 (2001 est.)

Unlike the United States whose
cultural landscape acts as more
a crystal ball that mirrors the
richness of the global cultural
scene, Croatia hosts a population
of predominantly same or similar
demographic origins influenced
by an interaction of Slavic, Roman,
Austro-Hungarian, Byzantine and
Ottoman cultures. Similarities and
differences in everyday life of people
living in the United States and people
living in Croatia, in addition to the
disparities stemming from the various
socio-economical factors, echo this
fundamental distinction.
