"Boat Trip"; R, 95 mins

By Patty Pettigrew, staff reporter
Boat trip is a hilarious romantic comedy involving Academy award winner Cuba Gooding Jr., and also Horatio Sanz, Vivica A. Fox and Roselyn Sanchez. In the movie Jerry (Gooding Jr.) was dating Felicia (Fox) and she eventually called it off. To help Jerry get over the break-up, his friend Nick (Sanz) invites him on a singles cruise for a week to have a little fun.
Approaching the cruise ship, Jerry and Nick notice that only men are boarding. When Jerry and Nick realized that they're on a gay cruise ship, they're ready to jump ship as quickly as possible, but there's a problem.
Jerry starts to fall for a cute dance instructor named Gabriella (Sanchez) but has trouble wooing her because she had lost all hope in love from recent relationships. In order to try and get past her negativity towards love Jerry pretends to be a gay guy. Down the line, Gabriella and Jerry can't ignore the electric attraction they experienced towards each other, so they begin to get close. Surprisingly, the problem is Felicia, Jerry's ex-girlfriend, who showed up on the ship wanting to try again at their relationship. So in the end, Jerry was faced with the problem of deciding which woman he wanted to be in a relationship with.
I would recommend this movie to anyone willing to laugh the entire time they are in the movie theatre. And the actors and actresses delivered wonderful performances.

Who in their wildest dreams would ever believe Chris Rock would be running for president? Well, this movie has put together a wild plot with many different hilarious scenes to come up with that type of scenario.
