Eating on campus during the weekend

I realize that this particular rant might be met with some criticism. I acknowledge that criticism as most likely valid and I apologize for what might be construed as stupidity on my part, in advance.
Having that said, I would like to comment about the fact that the meal schedule on campus during the weekend is less than desirable. In case you are unaware, it's printed in a chart to the right. Now as you can see, the regular Cafeteria is open for a total of three and a half hours per day on weekends. However, it's open for a total of eight hours per day during the week days. This discrepancy is the very thing that I wish to rectify.
If a student decides it'd be nice to sleep in on the weekend, then, like lots of students, he or she won't get up until after noon. Then he's got to shower and make him or her self presentable. By this time, it may be as late as one o'clock. Well, one o'clock is outside of the normal operating hours of the cafeteria, so he's got to scrounge for food in the dorms until supper and the Muskie opens up at four. That's three hours without food (for you math deprived folks out there)! Most people can't wait that long.
The only solutions to this problem are for said college student to stop partying till all hours of the night (which we know isn't going to happen) or having the cafeteria open for longer hours, or having the Muskie open up earlier. These options, of course, require food service to work longer in one way or another. Obviously, food service personnel want time off of work too; they want to enjoy their weekends too and sleep in a bit. But I'm sure there are other alternatives to this dilemma, probably including more student employees.
Any way you look at it, there are going to be problems. However, my goal as always is to point them out in hopes that they are solved.
