The IT Department invites ALL students to an informational meeting on the decision of the turning off of Peer to Peer Networking (Kazaa, eDonkey, etc...). The discussion is planned for March 3 during the Convocation hour (11:00). It will take place in Bradley. This will be a panel discussion with legal experts as well as musicians. We would also like to hear from you, the students. We will talk about the danger of peer to peer networking, and the legal aspect of peer to peer networking. In addition we will discuss ways that you can protect the information on your computer and other security issues. This conversation needs to happen before the college makes any decision to turn it back on. Your participation is highly recommended. If you have any questions please contact the help desk at ext 1643.
