Janet Jackson Brings Whole New Meaning to 'Boob-tube'
Counter Point: A day that will live in indecency

What we have here is not a wardrobe malfunction, but a brain malfunction. What Janet Jackson did was not only incredibly dumb, but totally indecent. Oh and lets not forget to mention the disrespect to the American flag that Kid Rock decided to flaunt off. The Super bowl is a family event; I wonder if they realize how many children in the world they have now exposed to indecency, stupidity, and anti-nationalism.
Let's face it; Janet's stunt was a cheap and intentional ploy for publicity before her newest album comes out next month. Yes, that's right; she has an album coming out next month. Convenient, right? Of course, she did get her goal accomplished, getting more attention than her brother "Wacko Jacko," but she still could have found a more positive outlet to use.
Thanks to Jackson's dirty deeds, there's a new debate about the idea of tape delaying live events such as the Super bowl or other events. If those with celebrity status were taught how to behave we wouldn't have to worry about these things, and maybe America could be normal.
Although, Janet didn't only have that effect on television viewing, she also has set a new level of how celebrities will act in the eye of the public.
Kid Rock, Kid Rock, Kid Rock. For shame! It is the American flag, dude. Its a symbol of our great nation. It isn't your shall, or poncho or whatever the hell you want to try to use it as. There are simple rules of etiquette when it comes to the flag, and if you love our nation, like any decent American should (birth or immigrant), these simple things should be followed strictly. On a website (http://www.outlawslegal.com/organic/flag.htm), it is stated, "The flag should never be used for advertising purposes. It should not be embroidered, printed or otherwise impressed on such articles as cushions, handkerchiefs, paper napkins, boxes, or anything that is designed for temporary use. Advertising signs should not be fastened to a flag's staff or halyard. The flag should [also] never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery"
