On Oct. 18, the Lakeland Muskies steamrolled Alverno College in three straight games: 30-7,30-19, 30-14. The Muskies compiled an amazing .350 hitting percentage for the match.
Shelly Bruni led the offensive charge with eight kills. Ashley Domask was right behind Bruni, recording seven kills of her own.
Kaylyn Kasper had seven kills and a hitting percentage of .455. Heidi Kramer topped the team with an amazing .667 hitting percentage, attaining six kills in the process.
Jessica Sparling and Domask led the team defensively with 21 digs between the two of them.
"Jess Sparling played good defense tonight," head coach Chad Schreiber said. "Jessica Keller has also been getting more playing time and is doing very well."
Keller nailed six kills along with two block assists.
