Welcome back, now laugh
This is my first column so I'm sorry if you don't laugh at this

Now that we're acquainted, I'd like to extend my personal, warm welcome to all the fresh fish this year. Lakeland is really a nice place. And if you drop the soap in the shower here, there's a curtain so no one else who's occupying another shower simultaneously can even see that you've done this embarrassing act.
I'd like to get straight down to business. I am here to satisfy my readers and make them laugh. If you guys out there don't think I'm doing my job well or think I could be doing it better, then you should write to me. I don't know that I'm doing something wrong unless you tell me, so please, I encourage you to send me your thoughts on what you'd like to see in Fun House this year. I can be contacted through my email printed above or by phone (920-555-0158). Go ahead-call it. I dare you.
Or you all could just make things a lot easier on me and laugh at every appropriate place. It would take a lot of pressure off of me on a bi-monthly basis. In fact, just to make things easier on you, I can put a little asterisk at the end of a joke. This will show you the proper time to laugh.*
There's not much catching up to be done. There have been a few changes made around campus. The center of the roundabout at the West entrance to the Laun Center has a nice little garden of flowers now. That's always nice to see. There's also an inclined ramp leading up to Muehlmeier Hall. The stairs are now a thing of the past. Why this change was made I can't be sure.
Perhaps it was to make Muehlmeier wheelchair accessible, or maybe it was to make the snow shoveling easier once winter comes. I know those stairs caused some problems as far as coming and going. I say good riddance to the stairs.* Here's to the ramp!*
